Job Summary:

Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Oracle databases (19c/21c), SQL Server (2017/2019), and Sybase (16) in production and development environments.
Deploy, configure, and maintain
Oracle Unifier
systems.
Design and implement
high availability
solutions using
Oracle RAC
and
SQL Server AlwaysOn
.
Perform database performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery setups.
Implement and monitor database
backups, patching, and security hardening
.
Leverage
Azure
(VNet, VM, AD, Azure Monitor, etc.) and
AWS
(EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) for hosting and managing database workloads.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable and secure database solutions.
Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for production support when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years
of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
Expertise in
Oracle 19c/21c
,
SQL Server 2017/2019
, and
Sybase 16
.
Strong knowledge and recent hands-on experience with
Oracle Unifier
.
In-depth experience with
Azure
, including:
Azure VNet, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Azure Monitor.
Oracle RAC setup and configuration in Azure.
Experience with
AWS
cloud infrastructure, including:
EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
Proven skills in:
High Availability
architecture (Oracle RAC, SQL AlwaysOn).
Performance tuning
and
query optimization
.
Backup and recovery
strategies.
Security compliance and hardening
.
Excellent scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell, SQL/PLSQL).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certifications.
Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a database context.
