Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in Oracle 12c/19c and Oracle GoldenGate. This is a hybrid role based in Kolkata, suitable for professionals with 3-4 years of relevant DBA experience looking to grow in a challenging enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day Oracle database administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Monitor and tune database performance; troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage users, roles, privileges, and security settings.
• Handle backup & recovery operations using RMAN.
• Support data replication and synchronization using Oracle GoldenGate.
• Perform health checks, and manage database growth and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with developers and support teams for optimal database performance.
• Maintain documentation for all DBA activities and environments.

Required Skills:

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate (Classic or Microservices preferred).
• Proficient in Oracle 12c / 19c environments.
• Understanding of RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments for database operations.
• Basic shell scripting knowledge is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Oracle certification (OCA/OCP)
• Exposure to cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation frameworks for database deployment
