Ops Analyst

Step into a role of Ops Analyst , where you will take responsibility for client service and operational execution task. You must take responsibility for controlling risk and enhancing controls in connection to your job and areas of responsibility in accordance with rules and regulations.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

• Strong communication skills with proven experience in a banking operations environment, including the ability to clearly convey complex information and basic understanding of Ring-Fencing Regulations and their implications for financial institutions

• Foundational knowledge of Know Your Customer, Anti-Money Laundering, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, and Common Reporting Standard regulations, along with understanding of regulatory frameworks and controls.

• Self-driven, collaborative professional with a growth mindset, capable of working independently, driving process improvements, and contributing effectively within diverse teams.

Desirable skills sets:

• Any AML stream related experience, preferably CDD (Client Onboarding).

• Should have interacted with Front office and RM teams via Phone daily.

• Should be flexible for any shifts.

• Should have worked on all Risk types and individually able to classify a risk of both individual and entity client types.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.

This position is based out of Chennai.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
• Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
