Operations Officer

The Safety & Security Officer is responsible for all day to day and BAU functions in support of the Security Manager/ CSIS Officer in ensuring operational implementation of instructions connected to the safety & security procedures and are in compliance to the applicable best practices.

A. Security Inspections

• Conduct periodic security spot checks of premises / branches / facilities. • Create and maintain MIS of daily tasks / observations

B. Security Operations

• Support and tracking of Project management tasks as advised by the Security Manager.
• Provide support for minor / day-to-day Security related inquiries as directed and make incident / report / statements
• Track the maintenance to ensure that security equipment (e.g., CCTV, card access, alarms, etc.) is functional and properly maintained.
• Assist in conducting Security self audit and maintenance of files.
• Update and Maintain Security Systems Documentation and assist in Inventory management.
• Assist in First responses for emergency situations.
• Day to Day Management of access control and interface with the helpdesk.

C. Fire Safety Operations

• Assist Security Manager in Safety documentation.
• Implement corrective measures for safety systems deficiencies reported • Assist in conduct of emergency drills.
• Assist in ensuring Fire Safety equipment is functional and properly maintained. • Conduct daily / periodic inspections of equipment and egress systems • Assist in updating and maintaining Fire Safety Evacuation Plans.
• Assist in updating and maintaining Safety Systems Documentation and Inventory List

D. Vendor and Contract Management

• Monitor Security personnel on a day to day basis.
• Assist in compiling background check documents and screening for Guards and security vendor staff.
• Assist in periodic training of guards to meet quality specified in the Security Policy, SOP and contract document.
• Conduct spot checks on guards and security system vendors to ensure performance. • Ensure other security related vendors such as cash in transit and alarm monitoring center service providers comply with security operating procedures or policies. • Provide inputs on security vendor performance for the purpose of vendor selection and contract

H. Finance

• Prepare and collate basic data and MIS.
• Track Invoice processing as per timelines.
