Description
As an IB School Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth functioning of operations, logistics, facilities, marketing, and admissions in an International Baccalaureate (IB) school
Your responsibilities will encompass various areas to ensure an optimal learning environment and promote the schools brand**Key Responsibilities:** **Facilities Management:**Manage the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the schools physical facilities
Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and facility improvements
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
**School Calendar and Scheduling:**Develop and maintain the school calendar, considering IB program requirements, examinations, events, and holidaysCoordinate scheduling of classes, assessments, meetings, and extracurricular activities
**Transportation and Logistics:**Oversee transportation services, ensuring safe and efficient transportation for students and staffCoordinate logistics for field trips, excursions, and off-campus activities
**Resource Management:**Procure and manage educational resources, supplies, equipment, and materials required for the IB programCollaborate with academic departments and the administration to ensure efficient resource allocation
**Health and Safety:**Implement and monitor health and safety protocolsConduct inspections, drills, and risk assessments
Develop and implement emergency response procedures
**Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:**Ensure compliance with educational regulations, licensing requirements, and IB organization standardsStay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments
**Crisis Management:**Develop and implement crisis management plans and protocolsCollaborate with stakeholders for effective communication and response during emergencies
**Marketing and Branding:**Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the school and the IB programCoordinate marketing campaigns, advertising, and social media presence
Maintain and enhance the schools brand image and reputation
**Admissions Management:**Oversee the admissions process, including application, evaluation, and enrollmentDevelop and implement admission policies aligned with the schools mission and IB requirements
Coordinate with the admissions team to assess student applications and communicate decisions
**Enrollment Planning and Forecasting:**Collaborate with the school administration to plan and forecast student enrollmentConduct market research and analysis to identify target student populations and develop strategies for attracting and retaining students
**Community Engagement:**Foster relationships with parents, alumni, community organizations, and educational partnersOrganize community events, open houses, and information sessions
**Communication and Public Relations:**Maintain effective communication channels with prospective and enrolled familiesHandle public relations activities, media relations, and crisis communications
**Qualifications and
Skills:**
Bachelors degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)Experience in school operations management, marketing, or admissions roles
Knowledge of IB programs, educational regulations, and standards
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Familiarity with health and safety protocols and compliance
Proficiency in using technology and software applications for operations, marketing, and communications
