Chandigarh Angels Network (CAN) is Chandigarh Tricity s first and only angel network facilitating seed stage investments into disruptive startups. With 25+ Startups already in our portfolio, hundreds of startups mentored, thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs sensitized & motivated by our angels, CAN s objective of strengthening Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem is well taken care of. CAN counts the region s top entrepreneurs and executives as its members.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Help identify and attract early stage startups to bring them to CAN members for pitching, directly and via partner networks.
Facilitate startup investing process between angels and startup founders, including negotiations, legal documentation process, due diligence etc.
Smoothly run the operations of Chandigarh Angels Network s secretariat.
Organise monthly startup pitch sessions for shortlisted startups to pitch to CAN angel investors digitally, or physically
Analyze financial and valuation models of startups, negotiate where necessary.
Organize physical/ virtual pitch events for the matchmaking of CAN members and startups.
Ensure 360 degree outreach of CAN s brand name with quality content publishing and strategic tie ups.
Represent CAN on relevant forums while creating value for the organisation.
Build strong investor relations and ethically run the investment proposals.
Manage relation with existing and future portfolio startups while exercising information rights.
Create value for the local startup ecosystem by organising mentoring
sessions and startup activities with CAN members.
Add more members and help retain existing members of CAN.
Maintain CAN organisational compliances to the highest standards.

Education/ Experience:

Graduation is a must. Engineering or MBA degrees preferred
2 5 years work experience
Excellent communication skills
Past experience of working with an angel network will be preferred.
Past start-up experience as a founder or key teammate will be preferred.

Desired Skill(s):

Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
Coordination and sales skills shall be required
Event management skills will be an added advantage
