Description
As an individual with End-to-End Container Knowledge, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of container operations, encompassing import and export processes. It will be your duty to ensure the proper documentation for Import General Manifest (IGM) and Export General Manifest (EGM). Additionally, you will need to liaise with shipping lines, port authorities, and customs to facilitate smooth container clearance and delivery. In the realm of Logistics and Inventory Management, your role will involve overseeing logistics operations from warehouse management to final delivery. Your focus will be on ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions while maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and optimizing storage and distribution processes. Furthermore, you will be in charge of handling inventory audits, discrepancies, and ensuring timely stock replenishment as needed. Client Coordination will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities, as you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding operational queries, updates, and requirements. Your communication skills will be put to the test as you provide real-time updates on shipment statuses and promptly address any issues. Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients to support long-term business objectives will also be crucial. Stakeholder Management will require you to collaborate with internal teams such as sales, finance, and logistics, as well as external stakeholders like suppliers, vendors, and customs officials. Your role will involve providing status reports, updates, and operational performance reviews to key stakeholders as necessary to ensure efficient operations. In the domain of Grievance Handling, you will be expected to address and resolve operational grievances from clients or stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Maintaining records of grievances and resolutions will aid in enhancing future processes and preventing recurrence. Your role will entail meticulous Documentation & Reporting, where you will be responsible for managing all operational records, including shipment documentation, invoices, and receipts. Additionally, you will prepare reports on operational performance, shipment status, inventory levels, and other pertinent data for management review. Key Requirements: - Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field - Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of import and export operations, experience with IGM, EGM, and customs clearance procedures, strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management systems, and warehouse management - Skills: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) This is a Full-time position with Provident Fund benefits, requiring a total of 5 years of work experience.
