Job Responsibilities Billing Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end billing process for logistics services, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to customers, Invoice Preparation and Review: Prepare and review customer invoices, ensuring they reflect the services provided, applicable charges, and any discounts or adjustments, Data Reconciliation: Perform data reconciliation between logistics operations, customer contracts, and billing systems to ensure accurate invoicing, Customer Account Management: Monitor customer accounts, address billing discrepancies or queries, and ensure customer satisfaction in relation to billing matters, Contract Analysis: Collaborate with the sales or contract teams to ensure accurate billing in accordance with customer contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing agreements, Financial Reporting: Assist with generating billing-related reports, such as revenue tracking, accounts receivable aging, and billing forecasts for management, Compliance and Auditing: Ensure billing processes comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements Assist in internal audits and external financial audits, Team Leadership and Development: Lead, trained, and mentored a team of billing staff Ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their responsibilities efficiently, Issue Resolution: Address and resolve billing-related issues or discrepancies between clients, vendors, or internal teams, Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce errors in billing operations, Key Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, Experience: Minimum 10 years plus of experience in billing, Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, billing systems, and MS Office (Excel, Word), Knowledge of the Billing process: Strong understanding of logistics, shipping operations, and the billing processes involved in freight management, warehousing, and transportation, Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in invoices, reconciliations, and financial reports, Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams, Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently, Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team of 10 to 15 people, manage workloads, and train staff effectively, Preferred Skills Experience with logistics-specific billing systems or ERP tools, Knowledge of international shipping, customs, and related billing complexities, Familiarity with contract negotiation and pricing strategies in logistics services, Interested candidate share your updated cv on : Salary@mastergroups
