Job Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement robust business development strategies to generate leads, close deals, and achieve revenue targets for shipping and logistics software solutions, Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Proactively generate new leads through cold calling, email campaigns, industry networking, and leveraging existing relationships Identify and prospect new clients in the shipping, logistics, and supply chain sectors, Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction, Market Research & Insights: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and business opportunities in the logistics technology space, Presentations & Demos: Lead product demonstrations and presentations tailored to prospective clientsneeds, highlighting the value and capabilities of our software solutions, Contract Negotiation & Deal Closing: Manage pricing discussions, engage in contract negotiations, and close deals that align with both client requirements and company goals, Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and technical teams to deliver customized solutions that meet clientsneeds, Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular progress reports, highlighting challenges or risks in achieving sales targets, Customer Retention & Upselling: Cultivate ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and explore opportunities for upselling additional software features or services, Networking & Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, conferences, webinars, and networking sessions to enhance the companys visibility and stay updated on trends in shipping and logistics, Pan-India Travel: Travel across India as required by the business to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities, ensuring maximum coverage and business development, Key Requirements Experience: 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the shipping, logistics, or supply chain software sectors, Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the shipping, transportation, and logistics industry, with specific knowledge of logistics software solutions such as TMS (Transportation Management Systems), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), or similar technologies, Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a proven ability to close large deals and drive revenue growth, Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence high-level decision-makers, Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex software solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, Negotiation & Closing Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals while maintaining a client-centric approach, Education: A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, Existing Network: An established network within the shipping, logistics, or transportation sectors is a strong asset, Interested candidates mail your updated cv on: salary@mastergroups ocm
