About the Role

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Functional / Technical Consultant with over 10 years of deep expertise across OpenText project implementations, upgrades, and support / BAU projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end OpenText functional and technical aspect of the system, including hands-on configuration, development, integration with PeopleSoft and / or other major ERP systems.

This is a pivotal role in delivering digital document and content management solutions that enhance enterprise productivity, compliance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support full lifecycle OpenText support and implementation projects, including planning, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  
• Deliver technical and functional consulting across OpenText ECM (e.g., Content Suite, Extended ECM, Archive Center, OTDS, Brava, Blazon).
  
• Manage end-to-end upgrade projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business disruption.
  
• Integrate OpenText solutions with PeopleSoft and other ERP platforms (e.g., Avature, SAP, Oracle) using APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to translate business requirements into scalable OpenText solutions.
  
• Participate in ongoing support, maintenance, and BAU operations, including issue resolution, performance optimization, and user support.
  
• Develop technical documentation, process flows, and user guides aligned with enterprise IT standards.
  
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and business stakeholders.
  
• Stay updated on OpenText product roadmap and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.
  

Skills & Experience

Must - Have:

• 10+ years of experience in OpenText consulting, covering both functional and technical domains.
  
• Proven track record in end-to-end OpenText implementations, including Content Suite, xECM, Archive Server, OTDS).
  
• Strong expertise in OpenText upgrades and patch management.
  
• Hands-on experience in integrating OpenText with PeopleSoft ERP systems, including data/document flow and interface management.
  
• Ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot OpenText workflows, metadata models, permissions, and user access.
  
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  

Desirable:

• Experience integrating OpenText with Avature, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or other HRIS platforms.
  
• Familiarity with OpenText Cloud Editions (CE) and migration strategies.
  
• Working knowledge of .NET development will be a huge bonus.
  
• Exposure to regulatory compliance and document retention policy configurations.
