Location: Mohali Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO) Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days/week) About Us We at Basta Group are a fast-growing iGaming platform providing B2C and B2B solutions across global markets. We're expanding our tech team and looking for a skilled Backend Developer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about scalable systems, secure architecture, and high-performance APIs that power interactive gaming experiences. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems for real-time gaming applications · Build and integrate RESTful and WebSocket APIs to support frontend animations, audio triggers, and dynamic gameplay · Develop game logic engines, player state management, transaction handling, and leaderboard systems · Ensure data integrity and security in user sessions, transactions, and in-game progress · Collaborate with frontend developers, game designers, and DevOps teams for smooth deployment and integration · Optimize database queries, caching layers, and server-side performance for high concurrency environments · Write unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability and reduce downtime · Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation Requirements · 2+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in iGaming, gaming, or real-time applications · Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks · Strong experience with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL/SQL databases · Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, WebSocket connections, and real-time services · Good understanding of game architecture, event-driven systems, and session management · Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, or similar auth flows · Strong debugging, testing, and performance tuning skills · Version control using Git and experience with collaborative workflows Nice to Have · Knowledge of game math, random number generation (RNG), and payout logic · Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker) · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) · Awareness of iGaming compliance, fairness verification, and security standards · Understanding of Firebase or Socket.io for real-time multiplayer features Perks · Join a growing team in the high-impact iGaming sector · Collaborate on fun, challenging, and globally visible projects · Creative freedom to innovate and experiment with new backend solutions · Competitive salary with performance-based hikes Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Location Type: In-person Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person Speak with the employer +91 8447478828
