Officer / Sr. Officer - Production

Responsibilities:

1. To ensure that the manpower required for achieving the moulding and punching as per schedule are available.

2. To ensure that tools, equipment's and machines are well maintained functioning properly.

3. To ensure adequately trained manpower is available for undertaking Moulding & Punching operations.

4. To ensure that all the equipment's and machines are operational.

5. To ensure regular checks are conducted for machines for accuracy and readiness for operation.

6. To set parameters; set curing time and follow the sequence of moulding on moulding machine.

7. Comply with the maintenance schedule and ensure that maintenance programme of the machine is carried out on regular basis.

8. To train the manpower for handling emergency situations.

9. Resolving issues (if any) among the team members before the commencement of moulding or punching operations.

10. To ensure that team members adhere to all safety norms (such as wearing protective gloves, masks, goggles and safety shoes).

11. To train the new/ existing operators and helper as per the training calendar or as per the requirement.

12. Execution of daily, weekly/monthly production plan.

13. To assist Production officer to take corrective and preventive actions based on IPOC observations and customer complaints.

14. To maintain the personnel hygiene of employees.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Injection Molding (plastics) production management.
• Expertise in machine maintenance, process optimization, and troubleshooting in molding operations.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance for manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Plastics/Mechanical.
