As the Project Quality Manager, your main responsibilities will include overseeing all Quality assurance and Quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle, from Design/ Engineering to Construction, Inspection/ Testing, and Commissioning phases. You will be responsible for advising and guiding project line management on Quality and verification activities, as well as related technical matters. Additionally, you will be tasked with establishing, implementing, operating, and maintaining the Quality Management System in compliance with relevant standards. Your role will involve identifying and allocating quality resources, conducting Quality training for project personnel, and ensuring that all team members understand and fulfill their responsibilities as per the quality plan and procedures. You will also manage the Non-conformity process, implement corrective and preventive actions, and monitor their effectiveness. In terms of key deliverables, you will be responsible for developing the Project Quality Plan, work procedures, inspection plans, audit plan, and providing monthly Quality reports to the client. You will serve as the Management Representative and oversee management review meetings, closure of non-conformance reports, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, as well as vendor evaluation reports. Your key relationships will include internal stakeholders such as employees, and external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, site coordinators, and regulatory bodies. You will lead Quality audits both internally and externally, manage multi-discipline QA/QC teams, and conduct regular Project Quality System review meetings with the project team. In terms of key competencies, it is essential that you have experience in Quality Management in EPC phases of oil and gas projects, including working with international clients in India or abroad. You should be a qualified QMS Lead Auditor and have previous experience as a Project Quality Manager for mega-sized Oil and Gas projects. Familiarity with international codes and standards used in the Oil and gas industries is also required. Desirable qualifications include ASNT Level II/III certification in NDE techniques, as well as certifications (CSWIP/AWS/NACE/BGAS) in Welding and Painting inspection. Exposure to exotic, non-ferrous, and non-metallic materials would also be advantageous.,

Monitor in-process and final inspection of Bright Bars (e.g., diameter, straightness, surface finish, microstructure, mechanical properties). Ensure proper usage and calibration of measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, roughness testers, UTS machines, etc.). Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of batches. Support implementation and maintenance of quality management systems. Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits by clients and certification bodies. Ensure compliance with product and process specifications. Analyze customer complaints (e.g., surface defects, dimensional issues). Coordinate with production and technical teams to identify root causes and implement corrective & preventive actions. Prepare customer complaint reports and ensure timely resolution. Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation such as inspection reports, test certificates, control plans, and SOPs. Submit regular quality performance reports to management. Maintain Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and inspection reports as per customer and regulatory needs. Lead initiatives for process improvement, defect reduction, and cost savings using quality tools . Participate in cross-functional teams for lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma projects. Guide quality inspectors and technicians. Conduct training on quality standards, inspection techniques, and work instructions.

Primary Skills Strong expertise in SAP QM module implementation, configuration, and support within SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Experience in setting up inspection types, quality notifications, results recording, and usage decisions for incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Knowledge of quality planning, quality inspection, quality control, and quality certificates in manufacturing and procurement processes. Hands-on experience in integrating SAP QM with MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and SD (Sales & Distribution) for quality compliance. Expertise in quality management master data such as inspection plans, sampling procedures, catalogs, and characteristic control. Ability to configure vendor evaluation, supplier quality management, and audit management within SAP QM. Strong understanding of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), deviation handling, and non-conformance management. Experience in quality notifications, complaint handling, and integration with SAP Workflow for approvals and corrective actions. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP QM issues, optimize system performance, and provide end-user training. Secondary Skills Basic understanding of SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety Management) for compliance reporting. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Lean Quality methodologies. Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) integration with SAP QM. Familiarity with automation tools, Fiori apps, and SAP Business Workflow for enhanced quality process management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation in SAP QM. Ability to work with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, sales, and regulatory compliance teams.
