Officer / Senior Officer-Indirect Tax

Rain Industries is seeking a Officer / Senior Officer for, Indirect Taxation to join its Indirect Taxation Team @ Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The ideal candidate has understanding of indirect tax including Goods & Services Tax Act, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, etc. in a reputed manufacturing company in SEZ area and is responsible for the entire Indirect Tax Compliance, and the experience you gain will be a great asset to your career growth.

Role and Responsibilities

• Filing of Shipping bills / Provisional shipping bills in ICEGATE including preparation of bonds and get this notarized by an advocate and assessment by AO / PO s.
• Maintain Pricing conditions in SAP and checking of sale orders issued by marketing department through SAP.
• Generation of Invoices for DTA Sales / Zone to Zone & Exports in SAP before filing of Bill of entries & Shipping Bills.
• Close follow up Marketing Team/Customs Officers for obtaining POEs (Proof of Exports)
• Guiding Purchase Team / Marketing Team for pre-dispatch documents and filing of advance Bill of Entries for the Import Shipments.
• Timely allotment of CR numbers / Request IDs (after due verification of LUTs) for receipt of material as per the invoice sent by Purchase team before its dispatches.
• Filing of Free forms for Contractor Registration / TRs for necessary repairs/replacement/rejections etc. and obtaining GST endorsements.
• Follow up for duty remittance through TR6 Challan before dispatch/Advance duty.
• Processing GRN (Goods receipt No) for Raw Materials in SAP.
• Maintenance of statutory records & filing of GST Returns – Month/Quarter/Annual
• Processing E-Waybills and SEZ Gate passes (Form-A).
• Keep track and maintaining all the import and exports records
• Handling of CHA / shipping Lines regarding export and Import clearances and documentation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• B. Com(Computers)/MBA
• Minimum 4 -8 years of Experience
