This newly created integral role within the Calcination Business Unit will assume global accountability for raw material blend planning and production control within the Rain Carbon organization. Your primary objective is to maximize Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) margins by minimizing Green Petroleum Coke (GPC) input costs while meeting rigorous CPC quality requirements and shipment schedules. Your role will focus on integrating USA and India - GPC procurement, CPC production, and blending operations. This position requires a deep understanding of production operations, blend planning and cost optimization, supply chain management, and quality assurance. Establish a global production planning function at Hyderabad, India, which integrates and controls raw material blend plans across the USA and India calcining operations. Evaluate Green Pet Coke (GPC) sourcing options and provide recommendations to the Procurement team and Production teams to minimize raw material costs whilst still achieving all CPC quality requirements and specifications. Develop long-term production blend plans which identify the timeline for procurement and delivery of GPC raw material shipments to enable production of in-specification CPC product to meet agreed customer CPC delivery schedules.
