Engineer / Sr. Engineer-Mechanical

Rain Industries is seeking a Engineer / Sr. Engineer for, Mechanical to join its Mechanical Team @ Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The ideal candidate is responsible to supervise work execution (Erection,

Commissioning and any modification) on site during project and later as an Engineer in maintenance activities and the experience you gain will be a great asset to your career growth.

Role and Responsibilities

• Good knowledge about maintenance of material handling equipment like Belt Conveyors, crushers, Bucket elevators, screw conveyors, vibrating screen, crushers, Samson feeder.
• Supervise project work execution on site
• Develop procedures and instruction for either project, maintenance or shutdown to ensure compliance to safety, specification, standard and procedures in order to achieve highest quality of the work
• Identify study, propose, and implement area for improvement (project) in the field of Mechanical engineering to enhance operation and improve total equipment reliability.
• As contract holder to ensure compliance to the procedures, policies and guidelines set to support the erection, commissioning and maintenance needs of the relevant contractors and suppliers associated to the works
• Checking of inward material for the Mechanical items supply from different suppliers for correct technical specifications as per PO and issue from stores
• Populate inputs into SAP to ensure data and history of equipment maintenance activities are captured accurately. Provide inputs to maintenance engineer with regards to Mechanical maintenance activities, schedule with procedure and compile all maintenance activities.
• Provide technical advice during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and corrective action of Mechanical breakdown, to find the root cause of failure and best solution in order to restore the functionality back to normal.
• Participate actively in meetings, competitions, campaigns, discussion and other activities which is relevant to the job roles.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement or replacement.
• Coordinate with production and electrical teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
• Supervise and lead a team of technicians and fitters to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Diploma / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 -10 years of Experience
