Location: Chennai, India

Job Summary: The Office Assistant will support daily administrative operations by managing office tasks, coordinating document movement, running errands, and assisting teams as required. This role ensures smooth internal workflow and supports efficient functioning of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support;

  • Assist in routine office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, printing, and organizing documents.
  • Maintain office supplies and stationery, assist in replenishing stock.
  • Support administrative staff with document preparation and basic data entry tasks.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization of office areas, meeting rooms, and pantry.

Runner / Errand Duties:

  • Safely transport and deliver documents, files, and packages to government offices, courier services, clients, banks, and vendors.
  • Collect cheques, invoices, parcels, and other documents as required.
  • Assist in bank-related work such as depositing cheques, updating passbooks, or collecting statements.
  • Handle small purchases and procurement tasks from local vendors.

Office Support Activities:

  • Assist in setting up meeting rooms and arranging refreshments when required.
  • Coordinate internal movement of documents between departments.
  • Support HR/Admin in event arrangements, visitor management, and logistics.
  • Assist in travel-related tasks such as picking up documents, delivering travel tickets.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum SSLC / Higher Secondary qualification.
  • Prior experience as an office assistant or runner boy preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment (printer, scanner, photocopier).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
  • Good time-management and multitasking ability.
  • Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license (if errands require).
  • Familiar with local routes and areas.

Work Conditions:

  • Office-based role with regular outdoor errands.
  • May require occasional extended working hours based on office needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
