Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Odoo Developer to join our team in Chennai. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for the customization, development, deployment, and optimization of Odoo ERP systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Odoo ERP modules based on organizational needs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Integrate Odoo with other internal and third-party systems
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing Odoo modules
• Participate in gathering requirements and designing new features
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and business stakeholders
• Continuously improve development practices and code quality
• Maintain and update technical documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and customization
• Strong knowledge of Python and related frameworks/libraries
• Solid experience in PostgreSQL, and Linux server administration
• Front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with Git (version control, branching, push/pull)
• Understanding of Odoo data migration methods
• Awareness of Odoo 18 including latest JSON "action" changes and automation
• Knowledge of Odoo.sh and deployment on cloud platforms like AWS is a plus

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of ERPNext or other ERP platforms
• Experience working on Odoo 15 and the latest versions
• Understanding of key business processes (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development workflows
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
