Role Overview

Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs through detailed evaluation of physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional aspects.
• Design and implement individualized

  therapy plans

  to support rehabilitation, motor development, and adaptive skills.
• Provide therapy to patients with developmental delays, hearing/speech-related difficulties, or post-injury rehabilitation needs.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapy practices and home-based interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, progress reports, and therapy documentation.
• Contribute to awareness, wellness, and preventive healthcare initiatives of Soft Hear.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

  (BOT/MOT) from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the

  All India Occupational Therapists’ Association (AIOTA)

  or relevant council (preferred).
• Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques, sensory integration, and therapeutic interventions.
• Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to work with patients of all age groups.
• Ability to work independently while being an active part of a multidisciplinary team.
