Mission The Product Engineer will support pricing strategies and operational marketing tasks within the Optical Interconnect Solutions (OIS) marketing team. This role focuses on analyzing pricing requests, managing product obsolescence, supporting product continuity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial and operational efficiency. Profile Key Responsibilities Pricing Support & Communication: Review pricing requests from global sales teams, prepare accurate quotes using the right tools and sound judgment, and respond promptly to help with decision-making. Escalation & Standardization: Identify missing or unclear information in requests, escalate special cases to Product Managers, and help include approved prices in the standard pricing system. Impact & Product Data Analysis: Monitor the effects of pricing changes on sales performance, revenue, and profit margins, and perform basic technical analysis using product-related data such as sales history, cost structure, and customer usage. Obsolescence & Modification Management: Track and manage obsolete components impacting product lines, oversee necessary modifications, and ensure product functionality and continuity. Process & Alert Handling: Develop and maintain standardized procedures for obsolescence management and ensure timely action on obsolescence alerts to minimize disruption. Key Competencies Good understanding of fiber optics fundamentals and Optical Interconnect Solutions (OIS) technology. Ability to handle complex harness pricing requests and deliver accurate results efficiently. Effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to the sales team on pricing queries. We are Hiring for Component Engineer Mechanical Eligibility Criteria: Years of Experience: 2-8 Years Educational qualification: Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial Production, Automobile) or equivalent. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for identification of key technical parameters for Mechanical COTS (Commercially Off the Shelf) parts. Responsible for identification of interchangeable or similar Mechanical part during qualification of any Mechanical COTS part. Authorize technical specification sheets written for COTS parts. Responsible for standardizing the technical content of COTS parts in the specification sheets. Support Design Engineering in identification and qualification of Mechanical/Electromechanical components. Maintain Preferred Parts Database for any component changes. Ensure all existing and new internal part numbers and descriptions are correct. Generate internal standards (Preferred Part) related to component selection. Liaise with quality assurance and purchasing departments on component related issues. Liaise with Component Library team to guide on component specification and dimensions as needed. Liaise with Manufacturing and supply chain and work on Component related problem reports in solving and implementing. Mandatory Skills required to performing the job: Understanding of detailed manufacturing process and end to end parameters of Mechanical/ Electromechanical components such as Fasteners, Valves, Mass flow controllers, Tube FTGs other mechanical components used in SEMI industry. knowledge in component parameters and its significant impact on product performance. Review and address Product Change Notices (PCNs) from component manufacturers. Preferred candidate profile 3- 5 years of relevant experience in component engineering.
