• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js & Express.
• Ensure asynchronous, non-blocking code with strong error handling.
• Implement middleware, authentication, authorization, and rate-limiting for secure APIs.
• Optimize API performance and handle large-scale data operations.
• Work with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) for schema design & queries.
• Collaborate with frontend teams (React/React Native) to integrate APIs.
• Apply best practices in code quality, testing (unit/integration), and CI/CD.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture discussions.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) & asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Express.js, REST APIs, and middleware design.
• Good understanding of event loop, callbacks, and promises.
• Knowledge of error handling, centralized logging, and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with scaling APIs (rate limiting, caching, load balancing).
• Hands-on with databases (MongoDB, MySQL/Postgres, Redis).
• Experience with version control (Git) and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.
• Prior startup experience.
