About the Role

Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities

•       Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and modern frameworks (Express.js, NestJS, etc.).

•       Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile platforms.

•       Integrate third-party services, internal systems, and APIs.

•       Implement and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

•       Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.

•       Write clean, well-structured, and testable code following best practices.

•       Conduct thorough unit/integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

•       Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams for smooth integration and delivery.

•       Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural discussions.

•       Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements where relevant.

Required Skills And experience

•       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

•       3–6 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js.

•       Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous/event-driven programming.

Express.js

MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

Git, Docker, Kubernetes

•       Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices.

•       Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills

GraphQL

•       Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) for better collaboration.

CI/CD pipelines

microservices architecture

•       Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.) and performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog).
