Job Description

About the Role

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
Assist in processing
accounts payable and receivable
transactions accurately and on time
Reconcile
bank statements
, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts
Participate in the
month-end and year-end closing processes
, including journal entries and financial reports
Basic knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.
Maintain organized documentation of financial records for audits and compliance
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy in expense tracking and reporting
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
03 years of accounting experience
Basic understanding of
accounting principles
(GAAP preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally,ZohoBooks or similar systems is a plus
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalis
