About the Role

Assistant Manager – NPD

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility reports based on product drawings.
• Manage APQP & PPAP documentation.
• Coordinate compound selection with the mixing team.
• Ensure tool readiness and mould condition checks.
• Conduct trials, troubleshoot process/product issues, and establish stable processes.
• Handle ISIR preparation & obtain customer approvals.
• Maintain trial records and corrective actions.
• Drive Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech in

  Polymer / Rubber Technology

  .
• 6–10 years of NPD experience in

  automotive / rubber compounding

  industry.
• Strong knowledge of moulding processes, APQP, PPAP, and ISIR.
• Energetic, practical, and well-versed in computer applications.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
