New Product Development (NPD) & Innovation Strategy @ SEREKO – D2C Skincare (1-2 years)

About the Role

  • As an R&D resource, you will be responsible to Manage Formula development and new Innovations across skincare categories from concept to launch.
  • Be Interface on all project activities starting with project scope definition, formulation development, ingredient sourcing, prototype development and stability studies, manufacturing process with different manufacturing facilities, tech-transfer and validation, build-up of regulatory dossier for submission of commercial launch.

Key Deliverables

  • Research RM/ Ingredients to create new innovations, textures and effect right for the brand DNA.
  • Evaluate & redirect formula submissions from contract manufacturers to create the ideal product.
  • Initiate and manage process and product improvement initiatives to improve product quality and process.
  • Review all ingredients list with regulatory manager to ensure Global Compliance of all formula submission.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as Procurement, Quality Assurance, Nutrition, Regulatory, Business development & Manufacturing.
  • Focus on quality obsession by reviewing pilot & production batches as well as pre-production samples with quality assurance & packaging team to ensure formula & aesthetic match to standard.
  • Create claim questionnaire to ensure desired claims were tested and ultimately used as a marketing tool on packaging and company website.
  • Ensure appropriate KPI’s are in place and used effectively to measure and improve the effectiveness of the key elements of NPD process and overall departmental performance.
  • Propose, secure, and effectively manage budgets to support new product development and external partnership opportunities.
  • Track product timelines and key milestones throughout the development of the project to ensure timely launch.
  • Document Review : MFR, BOM, SOP, Change-control & Deviation, Draft Text Matter & Artwork.
  • Market Research : Survey competitive landscape to identify new product launches.


Qualification


- 1-2 years of Relevant Experience

- Experience in working in Beauty & Personal Care in New Product Development is a MUST

- Experience in working in Marketing (Brand / Category level is a MUST)
