Networking & IT Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, etc.)
• Monitor network/internet performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations
• Coordinate with ISP providers, raise support tickets, and follow up until resolution
• Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals
• Manage network security, including firewall policies, VPN, and access controls
• Provide IT support to employees for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Maintain proper documentation of network configurations, service tickets, and troubleshooting steps
• Support CCTV system setup, configuration, and monitoring (if required)
• Assist in setting up new workstations, operating systems, and software applications
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and spare parts
• Suggest improvements in IT infrastructure for better efficiency and security

Skills Requirement

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Experience with printer configuration, driver installation, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, Dell, or similar networking devices
• Familiarity with Windows Server and basic Active Directory management (preferred)
• Knowledge of backup systems and basic data recovery methods
• Good communication skills to coordinate with service providers and internal teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years of experience in IT support or related field.
• B. Tech/B.E. degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics and Computer Engineering Or
• Diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking / IT / Electronics from a recognized institute
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g.,

  CCNA, CompTIA Network+, MCSA

  ) will be an added advantage
