About the opportunity:

Job Title: Network Support Engineer (Remote)

Overview:

• We are seeking a mid-level Network Support Engineer to join our global operations team.
• This remote contractor role will focus on supporting and maintaining a mixed Cisco and Meraki environment, ensuring network stability and compliance with PCI standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for network infrastructure, including firewalling, routing, and switching.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining PCI compliance across network systems. Perform configuration changes and maintenance tasks during off-hours or scheduled maintenance windows.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week per month).
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with

  Cisco and/or Meraki

  network equipment.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals (

  firewalls, routing, switching

  ).
• Familiarity with PCI compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Availability for

  night shifts or on-call duties as required.
