Experience: 1–2 years

The Network Operations Engineer Level 1 is responsible for providing first-line support for the operation and maintenance of network systems and infrastructure. L1 Engineers will interact with customers, understand their needs, and create incidents or requests in the Client ITSM system (ServiceNow). L1 Engineers must have basic knowledge of products and services and skills to troubleshoot basic issues and leverage knowledge base articles for fixes and standard operating procedures for task execution.

This role also focuses on monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with the maintenance and optimization of network systems. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of network technologies and be eager to learn and grow within the field of network operations.


  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Very good knowledge and experience with network monitoring and reporting tool SolarWinds
  • Working experience in 8x8, Device42, ServiceNow
  • Microsoft365
  • Good communication skills to interact with internal and external stake holders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.


Shifts:

  • 24x7x365 network support (NOC) coverage - Flexibility is required to ensure 24/7 network monitoring and support
  • This position requires working in shifts comprising of 9 hours, with three shifts per day. The shift pattern may rotate and could include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • On-call support may be required during critical network outages or maintenance activities
