Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls such as Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and others.
Monitor network performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security.
Perform routing and switching operations and manage LAN/WAN environments.
Collaborate with the security team to enforce and update firewall and network security policies.
Conduct regular network assessments and implement improvements.
Ensure compliance with network standards and document all configurations and changes.
Provide support for network issues and resolve them promptly.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve network performance and security.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in network engineering or a related field.
Expertise in firewalls (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, etc.), routing, and switching.
Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.
Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, and relevant OEM certifications are mandatory.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with teams and clients effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with network monitoring tools.
Knowledge of cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience in configuring and managing SD-WAN solutions.
