Job Summary:

Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Manage and maintain

  FTP servers

  for secure file transfers and data management.
• Configure and support

  LAN/WAN, VPNs, VLANs

  , and wireless networks.
• Provide

  technical support

  for users across

  Windows, Linux, and macOS

  environments.
• Perform regular

  system updates, patches, and backups

  to ensure system integrity.
• Work on

  cloud infrastructure

  setup and maintenance (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred).
• Ensure

  network security

  through proper firewall configuration and access control.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and change logs.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors for issue resolution and upgrades.
• Participate in periodic audits and risk assessments related to IT infrastructure.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum

  24 years of experience

  in network and system administration.
• Strong understanding of

  network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, HTTP/S, SNMP)

  .
• Certification preferred:

  CCNA / CCNP / CompTIA Network+

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Linux and Windows server administration

  .
• Good understanding of

  cloud technologies (AWS / Azure / GCP)

  .
• Familiarity with

  hardware networking, cabling, switches, and routers

  .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  network monitoring tools

• Knowledge of

  firewall configuration

• Exposure to

  data backup, recovery, and virtualization tools
