Job Description

Please find below the details for the open position of Network Engineer – Passive & Active Infrastructure at Vikhroli-Mumbai.

Mandatory Skills Required (Active & Passive Infrastructure)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute passive infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, fibre routing, and installation of racks and patch panels.
Perform configuration of Cisco/HP switches (VLAN setup, STP, port configuration, and port security).
Configure Wi-Fi Access Points (Cisco/Aruba) and coordinate with the central IT team for network provisioning.
Conduct site surveys, maintain documentation (BOQs, layouts, heatmaps), and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for smooth project execution.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in structured cabling (TIA/EIA standards) and fibre routing.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst or HP Aruba switches.
Knowledge of OTDR and Fluke testing.
Familiarity with SolarWinds or similar network monitoring tools.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
