Network Tools Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage

  network monitoring solutions

  across on-premises and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Configure and maintain monitoring platforms (e.g.,

  SolarWinds, Nagios, Prometheus, Selector.AI, Datadog

  ) for performance, availability, and fault detection.
• Implement

  automation workflows

  for monitoring, alerting, and reporting using tools such as

  Python, Ansible, or Terraform

  .
• Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms (e.g.,

  ServiceNow

  ) for incident and change management workflows.
• Troubleshoot network issues and proactively recommend optimizations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Network, Cloud, Security, and Application teams) to understand requirements and deliver effective monitoring solutions.
• Maintain documentation of network tools architecture, configurations, integrations, and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in

  cloud networking, observability, and automation

  .

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  .

• 2–3 years of experience

  in network engineering or tools engineering, with exposure to both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Experience with

  network monitoring tools

  (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Prometheus, Selector.AI, Datadog, or equivalent).
• Experience in

  cloud networking

  (VPCs, security groups, routing, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute) and monitoring native cloud services.
• Knowledge of

  tool integrations

  (APIs, webhooks, ITSM platforms like ServiceNow).
• Understanding of

  networking protocols

  (TCP/IP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Certifications:

  CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent in networking is required.

• Cloud certifications

  (AWS/Azure/GCP Associate level or higher) are a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in

  automation and scripting

  (Python, Ansible, Terraform preferred).
