Job Description

Role Overview: As a Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in providing managed services to clients to ensure the operational continuity of their IT infrastructure and systems. Your primary responsibility will involve proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to maintain service levels and contribute to project work when required. This entry-level engineering role focuses on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents across various technology domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor client infrastructure and solutions, identifying problems and errors before or when they occur. - Investigate first-line incidents to determine root causes and provide telephonic or chat support to clients. - Schedule maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes. - Update knowledge articles, identify work optimization opportunities, and contribute to project work as needed. - Assist in implementing and delivering Disaster Recovery functions and tests. - Perform any other related tasks as required. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing or relevant work experience. - Certifications relevant to the services provided, such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified, Solutions Architect Associate, Veeam Certified Engineer, etc., are desirable. - Entry-level experience with troubleshooting and providing support in security, network, data center, systems, and storage administration. - Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
