Job Title: Network Engineer (2–3 Years Experience) – Immediate Joiner Location: Mohali Experience: 2–3 Years Job Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Department: IT / Infrastructure About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network infrastructure and experience working in IT services or enterprise environments. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take responsibility in a fast-paced IT setup and contribute to network performance, stability, and security. Key Responsibilities: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall infrastructure. Monitor network performance, availability, and security, and proactively resolve issues. Manage routers, switches, access points, and other network equipment. Ensure proper documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents. Support escalated network issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Implement network changes and upgrades following change management protocols. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards. Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network-related projects or escalations. Required Skills & Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role within IT firms. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and subnetting. Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar network hardware. Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios). Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices. Ability to perform root cause analysis and create effective solutions under pressure. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. CCNA or equivalent certification (preferred). Experience in IT service or managed services environments is a plus. Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
