Job Description

Network Architect

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end
network architecture
across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud platforms.
Define and maintain
network architecture standards, reference designs, and roadmaps
aligned with business and security needs.
Act as the
design authority
for all network changes, transformations, and major initiatives.
Drive network
automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
strategy using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Lead architecture reviews, design approvals, and technical governance.
Design highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise networks.
Lead modernization initiatives including SD-WAN, cloud networking, and zero-trust architectures.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering and operations teams.
Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams for integrated designs.
Engage with vendors and partners for solution architecture and technology selection.

🧠 Technical Skills & Expertise:

Expert-level knowledge of routing & switching (Cisco / Aruba / Juniper).
Strong experience with WAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN architectures.
Deep expertise in network security (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation).
Solid understanding of data center networking and high availability design patterns.
Hands-on exposure to
network automation and IaC
using
Ansible and Terraform
.
Working knowledge of
Python
for network automation, validation, and integration.
Experience with cloud networking (Azure / AWS preferred).
Strong understanding of enterprise ITSM / ITIL environments.

🎯 Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum
15 years of experience
in enterprise networking roles.
Proven experience in
Network Architect / Principal Network Engineer
positions.
Strong design documentation, HLD/LLD, and stakeholder presentation skills.
Relevant certifications preferred:
CCIE, CCNP, TOGAF, or equivalent
.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
