Network Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Networking & Security Administrator to manage the IT and security infrastructure of our coworking space. The role involves ensuring seamless internet connectivity, maintaining secure networks, and managing CCTV surveillance and access control systems. The ideal candidate will provide reliable IT and security support to enhance overall member experience and workspace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Ensure high-speed internet connectivity and troubleshoot connectivity issues for members and internal teams.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and system uptime for uninterrupted service.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, access control).
• Provide technical support for coworkers, resolving IT/network-related issues promptly.
• Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi access points, and structured cabling across the workspace.
• Collaborate with internet service providers (ISPs) to resolve outages or disruptions.
• Maintain backup systems, disaster recovery plans, and IT documentation.
• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, access control devices, and biometric/card entry systems.
• Regularly monitor and service CCTV footage, access card systems, and security equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Handle troubleshooting, upgrades, and vendor coordination for CCTV and access systems.
• Ensure data privacy, system security, and access compliance across IT and security systems.
• Suggest and implement IT & security improvements for efficiency and safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator / IT & Security Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, etc.).
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, biometric devices, RFID/card access systems, and surveillance software.
• Understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and customer support approach.
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CCTV/Access Control Training are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
