Network Admin L3||10 yrs||Pune Network Admin L3 Job Description Job Summary: The Network L3 Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced network systems. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, security, and performance optimization to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the company's network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: 1. Network Design and Implementation: o Design, plan, and implement complex network solutions that meet business needs and requirements. o Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation. o Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve network performance and security. o Configuration & testing of new network devices with help of OEM and Vendors 2. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: o Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. o Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for network-related incidents. o Coordinate with other IT teams to resolve network-related issues and ensure minimal downtime. o Responsible entire network issues and scopes o Analysis of logs and troubleshooting 3. Network Security: o Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. o Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards. o Respond to and mitigate network security incidents. o Implement privilege rights based on user rights for controlled access. Customer’s concerned people in a prescribed format will authorize all requests for user creation, modification and deletion 4. Network Optimization: o Analyze network traffic patterns and optimize network performance. o Implement quality of service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical network traffic. o Work with vendors and service providers to optimize network services and performance. o Continual Service Improvement Planning and executions o Performance tuning implementation suggested by OEM or product vendor 5. Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. o Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity. o Preparing, maintaining and updating of SOP and KB articles o Periodic auditing if network devices Show more Show less
