Job Description

Primary Job Title: C# .NET Developer

About The Opportunity

A role within the Information Technology & Services sector focused on enterprise application development and digital transformation for B2B customers. We build scalable, secure web applications and integrations that power internal operations and customer-facing products. This on-site position is based in India and requires hands-on engineering to deliver high-quality .NET solutions.Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and web applications using C# and the .NET stack (ASP.NET Core / MVC).
Build and consume RESTful APIs, implement data access using Entity Framework and optimize SQL Server queries for performance.
Collaborate with product owners and QA to translate requirements into technical designs and deliverables in an Agile environment.
Write clean, testable code and author unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and pair-programming sessions.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments; troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes with minimal downtime.
Contribute to architecture decisions for modular services, security best practices, and scalability improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience building .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
Strong proficiency with Entity Framework and SQL Server (T-SQL, indexing, query tuning).
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
Familiarity with version control and CI/CD workflows (Git, Azure DevOps or equivalent).
Practical knowledge of debugging, profiling, and production support processes.

Preferred

Experience with microservices, Docker containers, and cloud deployments (Azure).
Exposure to automated testing frameworks, TDD practices, and performance optimization at scale.
