About The Opportunity

Hiring for the IT / Telecom operations sector: a recruitment partner is sourcing on-site Network Monitoring Engineering talent to support large enterprise network environments across India. This role sits within 24x7 network operations and is focused on ensuring availability, performance, and rapid incident resolution for critical infrastructure.Role & Responsibilities

• Actively monitor network health and performance using enterprise monitoring platforms; detect, triage and resolve alarms and threshold breaches.
• Configure and maintain monitoring tools, SNMP polling, NetFlow/sFlow collectors and alerting rules to reduce noise and improve signal-to-noise ratio.
• Perform root-cause analysis on persistent incidents, create remediation actions and drive escalation to network engineering or vendor support when needed.
• Own incident lifecycle in ticketing systems (create, update, escalate, close) and produce concise incident reports and post-incident summaries.
• Generate and distribute operational dashboards and regular performance reports; recommend capacity planning and tuning changes.
• Maintain monitoring runbooks, SOPs and CI documentation; participate in shift handovers and on-call rotations as required for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in network monitoring, NOC, or network operations supporting enterprise networkshands-on with monitoring platforms and incident management.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing protocols, and basic network troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to work on-site across India and participate in shift-based operations including on-call rotations.
