Position
: Consultant Nephrologist (DM / DrNB) — On-site, IndiaContact Mr Manoj Thenua WhatsApp 639865 2832Role & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient nephrology care: evaluate, diagnose and manage AKI, CKD, glomerular diseases and electrolyte disorders.
- Lead and supervise dialysis services (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis) and manage CRRT for critically ill patients, ensuring safe protocols and staffing.
- Perform and interpret renal biopsies and coordinate diagnostic work-up with pathology and radiology teams.
- Collaborate with intensivists, transplant surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams for peri‑operative and post‑transplant renal management.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nephrology trainees, nursing staff and dialysis technicians; contribute to rotas and on‑call coverage.
- Drive clinical governance: participate in audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, protocol development and evidence‑based practice updates.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
- DM Nephrology or DrNB (Nephrology) with valid Indian medical registration and eligibility to practise on-site in India.
- Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification clinical experience in nephrology with proven competence in dialysis care and renal biopsy.
- Hands‑on experience managing AKI, CKD progression, electrolyte emergencies and ICU/CRRT cases.
- Strong clinical decision‑making, leadership, effective communication skills and experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred
- Experience in transplant nephrology, peri‑transplant management or formal training/exposure to transplant services.
- Track record of teaching, clinical research, publications or involvement in guideline/protocol development; familiarity with EMR systems and quality improvement methods.
