National Sales Head- Travel

Job Overview:  We are looking for a strategic, experienced, and visionary National Sales Head to lead our  PAN India Sales operations. This individual will be responsible for driving growth,  expanding market presence, and building a high-performing sales team across regions. As the  senior-most sales’ leader, he/she will play a critical role in shaping our national sales strategy  and steering the business towards long-term success in the travel and tourism domain.    Key Responsibilities:  ∙Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet national revenue and  growth targets.  ∙Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales teams across India.  ∙Establish B2B and B2C sales channels by developing strong relationships with travel  agents, corporate clients, distributors, and key partners.  ∙Monitor and analyze sales performance across regions; implement corrective actions  as needed.  ∙Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align offerings with  market demand.  ∙Identify emerging market trends and business opportunities within the travel and  tourism sector.  ∙Oversee sales training programs to improve team productivity and customer  engagement.  ∙Prepare and present regular reports, forecasts, and insights to the senior management.  ∙Represent the company at key trade events, expos, and conferences to promote the  brand and network with industry stakeholders.                          Required Skills and Qualifications:  ∙Proven track record of leading large sales teams and delivering significant revenue  growth.  ∙Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership  role in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.  ∙Deep understanding of the Indian travel market and consumer behavior.  ∙Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  ∙Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.  ∙Willingness to travel across India as required.  ∙Proficient in CRM tools, sales reporting, and performance tracking systems.
