We are looking for a highly skilled, hands on and self motivated system integrator to join us as consultant and work on the data center migration efforts for our electronic finance systems. The role will perform hands on system migration work to seamless relocate our sophisticated, large scale finance systems to the new data center in Asia region.
The ideal candidate is expected to have hands on experience of system migration, deployment under UNIX/Linux environment, with excellent communication skills. By performing the role, the candidate will have the opportunity to operate on the large scale electronic financial systems by working with cross Asia region teams.The responsibilities of this position are:Collaborate with cross functional teams including upper/down stream systems, hardware infra team to define migration strategy, timeline and risk mitigation plan.Perform the pre-migration testing and build up automation/toolingExecute actual migration of the electronic finance systems to the new data center.Perform the post migration validation and ensure the system integrity after migration.Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the migration.Coordinate with internal teams and PMO to make sure the migration milestones are met.Skills RequiredHands on system operation experience under Unix/LinuxProficient in one of the scripting language: Python or Unix/Linux shell scriptGeneral understanding and some exposure to C++ and JavaKnowledge of network, understand TCP/IP and UDP connectivity and data transferExperience with CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsHighly Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and resolving issuesBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentSkills DesiredExperience of system migration of large scale system under Unix/LinuxExperience in maintaining and operating on electronic finance systems-Primary Skill: Python Dev + Unix/Linux-PYTHON - One to Three Years,Developer Software Engineer - One to Three Years-PSP Defined SCU in Data Engineering_Senior Data Engineer
