Job Description

Key Responsibilities: - Ensuring that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational. - Performing necessary checks, applying monitoring tools, and responding to alerts. - Identifying problems and errors proactively, logging all incidents in a timely manner with required detail. - Assisting in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls. - Investigating and identifying the root cause of incidents and problems. - Reporting and escalating issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary. - Providing onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients. - Conducting monthly reviews of incidents and service requests, analyzing and recommending quality improvements. - Providing continuous feedback to clients, updating systems and portals as prescribed. - Identifying opportunities for work optimization and automation when possible. - Managing and implementing projects within the technology domain and delivering per client requirements and timelines. - Working on disaster recovery functions and tests. - Performing any other related tasks as required. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing. - Relevant certifications such as VMware certified Professional, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified, Veeam Certified Engineer, etc. - Seasoned work experience in Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization. - Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes and experience working with vendors and/or 3rd parties. - Experienced in managing platforms including Windows Server Administration, Linux Server Administration, Virtualization Administration, Server Hardware, and Storage Administration.
