Mortgage Manager

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the offshore team’s workflow, reviewing loan files and documentation, ensuring all tasks meet regulatory and company standards, and facilitating smooth collaboration with the onshore origination and underwriting teams. The Mortgage Manager will also lead, coach, and mentor the offshore team to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and quality benchmarks while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in an offshore or BPO environment supporting U.S. or international mortgage processes.
• In-depth understanding of

  mortgage lending processes

  including loan origination, processing, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with U.S. (or applicable) finance principles and mortgage regulations; ability to ensure offshore adherence to compliance standards.
• Experience managing and developing teams; ability to lead and inspire a high-performing support team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective collaboration with onshore teams and clients.
• Proficiency in mortgage technology platforms and tools (LOS, CRM, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in mortgage, finance, or operations management are a plus.
• Ability to work U.S.-aligned shifts or flexible hours as needed to support the onshore team.
