1. Reporting & Data Management
Prepare and maintain Daily/Weekly/Monthly MIS reports (Sales, Stock, Store Performance, Cash Flow, Purchase, etc.).
Analyze retail KPIs such as sales trends, footfall patterns, conversion rates, category performance, and inventory holding.
Maintain master data files (SKU Master, Store Master, Vendor Master, Price Lists).
Consolidate data from multiple sources (POS, ERP, Store Inputs, Finance).
2. Data Analysis
Identify gaps, variances, and trends in sales and operational metrics.
Provide actionable insights to management for planning and decision-making.
Compare budget vs actual performance and highlight deviations.
3. Automation & Process Improvement
Create automated dashboards using Excel (advanced), Power BI/Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
Develop macros, pivot dashboards, or scripts to streamline reporting processes.
Improve existing reports and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
4. Coordination & Support
Work closely with Retail Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Purchase teams.
Support store teams with daily data requirements and error resolution.
Monitor data flow from POS/ERP and coordinate to fix system issues.
5. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain documentation for all MIS processes and data checks.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
Support audits by providing required data and reports.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros).
Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
Experience working with POS/ERP systems (Retail Pro, LS Retail, SAP, Tally, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage large datasets and multi-source data.
Good communication and presentation skills.
