Mines Manager

Job Title: Mines Manager – Marble Mine

Qualification: I Class / II Class Mines Manager Certificate (DGMS)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Marble Mining (Open-cast)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day marble mining operations in accordance with approved mining plans and DGMS / MMR regulations.
• Ensure safe and systematic extraction of marble blocks with minimum wastage and optimal recovery.
• Plan, monitor, and control cutting, drilling, wire-saw operations, blasting and block handling.
• Maintain statutory compliance including registers, returns, notices, and reports as per mining laws.
• Implement strict safety, health, and environmental practices at the mine site.
• Coordinate with Geology, Production, Mechanical, Electrical, and Safety teams.
• Supervise mine workforce, including supervisors, operators, and contract labor.
• Ensure proper deployment and maintenance of mining equipment such as excavators, wire saws, compressors, loaders, and cranes.
• Monitor daily production, recovery percentage, block size, and quality parameters.
• Handle emergency situations and ensure compliance with emergency response procedures.
• Maintain daily, monthly, and annual records of production, dispatch, and manpower.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of marble mining techniques and safety regulations.
• Experience in open-cast marble quarry operations.
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to reduce wastage and improve block recovery and productivity.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and basic reporting.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mining Engineering (preferred).
• Valid DGMS I Class or II Class Mines Manager Certificate.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
