JobSummary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedmigrations specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, executeand manage the seamless transfer of data between platforms, includingreconciliation and analysis of financial data, and reporting back on keyprogress metrics. This role will be responsible for ensuring data integrity andoptimising migration processes. This requires strong data analysis skills and acomprehensive understanding of data workflows, databases and best practices fordata migration. He/she should be able to lead junior staff in the team and manageplanning and delivery of work.

Requirements
KeyResponsibilities
- Planning - Collaborate with variousstakeholders (clients, internal business units, engineering) to understandmigration requirements, scope, and objectives. Identify potential risks anddevelop mitigation effective strategies for prevention of data loss and/ornon-completion within timescales.
- Perform data mapping from source totarget systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Ensure data quality,cleansing, and validation throughout the migration process.
- Reconciliation \u2013 Perform datareconciliation and verification and resolve any discrepancies. Documentresults, track carry-forward issues and coordinate closely with other teamsuntil fully reconciled status.
- Maintain detailed documentation ofmigration plans, processes, configurations, and post-migration outcomes. Createplay-books and operational workflows for new datasets/systems.
- Provide expert-level support andtroubleshooting during and after migration activities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports,presentations, and dashboards for senior management, outlining key results andmetrics.
- Capable of performing investigations,troubleshoot and community effectively with clients.
Qualificationsand Skills
- Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering,Computer Science, Finance, Maths, Statistics, or related field and/orSpecialist Data Analysis Professional Certification.
- Preferred 2-5 years of experience asa data analyst/lead in financial or data reconciliation or in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, other MSOffice Suite tools (Word, PowerPoint, Email).
- Proficiency in database technologies(e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and strong SQL scripting abilities would bean added advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting principles andfinancial statements are also an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, with the ability to present complex data (usingknowledge/experience of BI concepts) clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, timemanagement skills in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to lead team andmeet deadlines.
