Job Title: Google Migration Engineer – Google Workspace to SharePoint Online

Job Summary:

Google Migration Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end migration projects from

  Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sites, and Shared Drives

  to

  Microsoft SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Teams

  .
• Conduct environment assessments, pre-migration analysis, and stakeholder workshops to determine migration strategy and scope.
• Configure, test, and run migration tools (e.g.,

  ShareGate, CloudM, BitTitan, Google Workspace Migrate

  ).
• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts or automation tasks to support migration and post-migration activities.
• Collaborate with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Admins for setup, permissions, and policy configurations.
• Provide technical support during and after the migration, resolving any data loss, performance, or compatibility issues.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and proper access control during migration processes.
• Document processes, configurations, lessons learned, and support knowledge base creation.

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience in

  Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)

  and

  Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online

• Proven track record of at least 2–3 successful

  Google to Microsoft 365 migrations

• Experience with

  migration tools

  : CloudM, ShareGate, Google Workspace Migrate, BitTitan, etc.
• Proficient in

  PowerShell scripting

  and automation workflows
• Solid understanding of

  SharePoint Online architecture, site collections, lists/libraries, metadata, and permissions

• Knowledge of

  OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Exchange Online

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with

  Microsoft Graph API

  and

  Google APIs

  for custom migration and scripting
• Familiarity with

  Information Governance

  ,

  Retention Policies

  , and

  Security & Compliance

  in M365
• Understanding of

  Azure AD

  , identity federation, and authentication methods
• Certifications like

  Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
