Role : MicroStrategy BI Developer Location : Remote Experience : 5+ Years Engagement Type : Long Term (Contract/Full-time equivalent) Shift Timings : 12 : 30 PM to 9 : 30 PM IST OR 1 : 30 PM to 10 : 30 PM IST Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MicroStrategy BI Developer with 5+ years of dedicated experience in MicroStrategy development. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in migrating MicroStrategy environments across various database platforms, including cloud databases like Google BigQuery. This role is primarily focused on deep technical design and implementation within the MicroStrategy ecosystem. Candidates who excel in technical execution and problem-solving, rather than direct business-facing or requirements-gathering roles, will be a strong fit. Key Responsibilities MicroStrategy Development & Implementation : Design, develop, and implement complex MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, documents, and cubes. Build and optimize MicroStrategy schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies) and metadata. Perform comprehensive migration of MicroStrategy environments and projects across different traditional and cloud databases, with a strong focus on platforms like Google BigQuery. Ensure the accuracy, performance, and scalability of MicroStrategy solutions. BI Project Delivery Demonstrate a solid grasp of the end-to-end MicroStrategy BI lifecycle, from data sourcing to final dashboard delivery. Contribute significantly to technical design and solution architecture for MicroStrategy implementations. Data Integration Gain and apply experience integrating MicroStrategy with Google BigQuery and managing related data processes, including data ingestion and transformation for BI consumption. Technical Communication Effectively address and resolve technical questions related to MicroStrategy development, architecture, and performance. Be capable of clear and concise technical communication, understanding that guidance may be required for clarifying complex topics. Troubleshooting & Optimization Identify and resolve technical issues within MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and schema objects. Optimize MicroStrategy reports and dashboards for improved performance. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience : Minimum 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in MicroStrategy development. MicroStrategy Core : Deep proficiency in MicroStrategy development, including schema objects, reports, dashboards, documents, cubes, and security. Database Migration : Proven experience in migrating MicroStrategy environments across different databases, particularly to cloud platforms like Google BigQuery. BI Lifecycle : Solid understanding of the end-to-end MicroStrategy BI lifecycle, including dashboarding, schema design, and metadata management. Cloud Integration : Hands-on experience integrating MicroStrategy with Google BigQuery and managing associated data processes. Technical Design : Strong capability in technical design and implementation. Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex BI challenges. Technical Communication : Ability to articulate technical concepts and troubleshoot issues effectively. Important Notes Dual Employment : The client strictly prohibits dual employment.
