We are seeking a highly skilled data professional with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server development, database architecture, and advanced data analytics. This role combines strong SQL/database engineering with business intelligence and analytics capabilities, leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision making across the organization. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing large-scale database systems while also building analytics. Solutions (dashboards, predictive models, insights) that directly support business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

SQL Development & Optimization

Design, develop, and optimize T-SQL code (stored procedures, triggers, views, indexes).
Apply AI-assisted query optimization and intelligent indexing for performance improvements.
Ensure scalability and reliability of databases handling high-volume BFSI transactions.

Database Architecture & Data Management

Redesign and optimize database schemas for analytics and performance.
Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) integrating SQL Server & Snowflake.
Implement AI-driven data quality checks and anomaly detection frameworks.

Data Analytics & Insights

Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Build predictive and prescriptive models using SQL + AI integration (Python/R).
Define and track business KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

Deliver executive dashboards for credit risk, loan portfolios, customer analytics, and collections.
Automate reporting cycles for regulatory and business requirements.
Partner with business users to translate requirements into insightful reports.

Administration & Automation

Manage backups, recovery, upgrades, and migrations.
Use AI and automation for monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
Reduce repetitive DBA workload through scripting and intelligent workflows.

Collaboration & Mentorship

Act as a bridge between data engineering and analytics teams.
Mentor junior developers/analysts in SQL, BI, and AI adoption.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

4-5 years of experience in MS SQL Server development, architecture, and BI analytics.
Expertise in T-SQL, query tuning, schema design, and performance optimization
Experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting.
Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools (SSIS, ADF, dbt, or equivalent).
Familiarity with AI/ML integration into data workflows (Python/R preferred).
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses.
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards (especially in BFSI).
